David Henderson is pictured right receiving the Award.
According to the magazine, the award highlights "excellence and achievement in loss adjusting" and honours an organisation that "has successfully utilised training" to contribute to "a reduced claims life cycle," "improved customer satisfaction," "enhanced decision making" and “business success."
FM Global, who has had operations in Europe for half a century and was founded 177 years ago, currently employs more than 175 loss adjusters, many of whom are former loss prevention engineers or underwriters. Many of the world's largest organisations turn to FM Global for its unique approach to developing cost-effective property insurance and engineering solutions that help protect their business operations from fire, natural disasters and other types of property risk.
"As a mutual insurance company, our policyholders are our owners, and it's the role of our in-house loss adjusters to build exceptional relationships with our clients, regardless of whether a loss ever occurs," said David Henderson, Northern Europe Operations Claims Manager. "Likewise, it is important for our adjusters to be fast and versatile enough to meet clients’ needs in the event of a loss and make sure the relationship is as strong, or stronger, as a result.
"To be able to guide clients through the often complex recovery process, minimise further loss and help restore them back to business quickly, requires our loss adjusters to have the best training possible. Such training also gives loss adjusters the authority to make on-the-spot decisions to ensure superior claims settlement time."
